We just fitted our 'new' secondhand narnia yesterday with instructions and it was a bit of a fiddle, but once in was very secure. Place the lap/diagonal belt through the slot in the back so that it comes out the front, it then goes over the arm rest, back through the other slot, across the back of the seat, then through the slots in the other side over the arm rest again and click it in.

I have had the exact same problem. After much toing and froing with Argos I managed to get a number for the manufacturer - 0116 284 4910. They are sending me instructions.
