I have a mitsubishi 62" wd62525, I replaced all

When you unplug the set it then when powered up waits for the DM unit to boot up----the green light blinks on the front for about 70 seconds and when it goes out the set can be turned on.

If this is the case I have a suggestion, let me know if I have described the situation correctly.

I have a mitsubishi model WS-55511. The green light keeps blinking. Have reset by unpluging and then pluging back in and holding the reset but for 5 seconds and press the power button. worked once, but...

TWO possible reasons for the blinking light:

1. The DM unit (caps and or fuses) are bad---no longer made and only (to my knowledge) PTS electronics repairs/rebuilds them.

2. Less likely but Possible: remove front speaker grill and inspection plate behind it----locate the two bundles of wires from front keyboard on set and follow them down and to the right---unplug both plugs and plug set in and wait 70 plus seconds and try to turn set on with Mitsubishi remote.

The blinking light is the DM trying to boot up--if set works with front keyboard unplugged---the tiny reset switch on it is bad.

If set does NOT work that way DM UNIT IS BAD.

This is cause of a power interuption. Try unpluging the TV from the wall, and waiting several min. Then plug it back up, wait serveral min again and the green light should stop blinking. Then turn it on.

Flashing green light

You can fix it yourself!! I got my board out of my tv and ready for repair in 20 minutes. Waiting on the capacitors to arrive.

It is easily fixable for about $10

That is an extremely common problem with Mitsubishi tvs old and new. It can be fixed easily and cheaply for those willing to use their hands.

Refer to this guide to replace the capacitors on your DM Power Circuit Board part # 935C9860. You could also have someone else do it for you for $100

Guide for a $10 DIY repair in capacitors :

Paid Rebuild Service:

That fixes the problem most of the time.

After replacing capacitors is you still get green light try replacing the EEprom. EEprom board also known as the E2P board is part number 935C978001

I had a half power outage where everything turned half off, how I still dont know. Anyways I unpluged it and didn't plug it back in until the next day. When I did the timer light was blinking for an hour. I unpluged it for a couple hours more, then I plugged it in and waited for 1 min, unplugged it and repeated, then I plugged it and unplugged it 3 or 4 times in a row, plugged it back in and waited. 1 min. then poof the tv worked. YAAAAAA HOOOOOO!!!!
