SOURCE: Double Blurry Print

Usually hairs sticking to the underside of the print head causes this.

I gave a solution to an Epson CX6400 user who needed to physically clean his print head. Look this up in the solutions. It involves using folded kitchen roll under the print head with the printer switched off and the head unlocked and free floating.

It would take me ages to type this again so please look this up.

The user had jammed paper and cleared the jam but had paper stuch to the underside of his print head.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: F380 All-In-One won't print

first of all you need to install the software..these are the steps to install the software please follow the steps below

Two installation options are available when installing the software and drivers from the product CD. The recommended install installs everything your device requires to work, including a suite of software recommended for your installation. The custom install allows you to choose what software to install. The recommended install is designed to work for most users. Use the custom install only if you have one of the following reasons:

  • Low hard disk space on the computer.
  • You do not want the additional software.
  • Errors occur during the recommended installation. NOTE: If errors occur during the recommended install, fix them before doing a custom install.
Recommended install Complete the following instructions to install the software: CAUTION: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted to do so during software installation. HP recommends using a USB cable that is less than 10 feet (3 meters) long. NOTE: Choose unblock or accept on all firewall messages or the install will fail.
  1. Insert the software CD into the CD-ROM drive of the computer. The software installer starts automatically. NOTE: The User Account Control screen might display. Click Continue .
  2. Click Install on the Thank you for purchasing from HP! screen.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome to the Install Wizard... screen.
  4. Click Next on the Do Not Block HP Install Wizard Processes screen.
  5. Select Yes or No on the Automatically Check For Updates screen and then click Next .
    • Choose the Yes (recommended) option to check for updates through an Internet connection.
    • Choose the No option if you do not want to check for updates.
  6. Select Recommended on the Installation Options screen, and then click Next .
  7. Follow the instructions on the screen that displays to finish installing the software.
Custom install CAUTION: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted to do so during software installation. HP recommends using a USB cable that is less than 10 feet (3 meters) long. NOTE: Select unblock or accept on all firewall messages or the install will fail.

Make sure you are installing the printer as instructed. Sometimes you hook the printer up before installing the driver and sometimes it is the other way around. Here is where to get the latest driver. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=315864&taskId=135&lang=en&cc=&prodSeriesId=315862&prodTypeId=18972&refresh=true

I bought a used hppsc1410 all in one and I am wondering if I can copy without it being hooked up to my computor

Yes you can copy without hooking it up to a computer. Just plug in the power supply and turn on the power switch and press start copy (black or color).
I have included a link to the manual.

Can I print with this if it is not hooked up to a computer

It's not possible to print without connecting to a computer. Yes, you can copy (you can use the copy feature). I wonder how what you want to print without a pc, it sounds little strange.

Good luck.

I have a Canon iP1800 color printer. I recently

Look around thoroughly in the Printers > Properties tabs. While in the shop, they have no doubt tested your computer (without your printer hooked up). Try letting your computer boot up without the printer, then with printer power on, plug in the USB cable.

Perhaps your printer is "offline." If so, right click on your printer's name in control panel. Choose "Use printer online".

My dell 942 aio is waco

Suggest you completely remove the printer from your system. The shut down the system, restart and reinstal the software that came with the printer. If it install completely with no problems you should be Ok to go. If not write back and with the info you can give on the removal the first time if it went ok and the reinstalation it it went OK. Also with the printer completly disconnected from your PC just plug the power cord into the wall and then put something on the scanner screen and see if you can make a copy of it by using the copy button. You should be able to make a black or color copy without your Pc hooked up.
