Re: No sounds in my speakers or my computer when turning...

Or you could find the driver yourself by looking up what kind of a sound card you have, and installing it from the website...

Sound (volume) of media player is at maximum but still very soft.

Go to your volume control via Control Panel or double click on speaker icon on task bar and check sound settings and computer volume or check your speaker's volume. Otherwise your speaker at fault.

My computers sound is not working

If your sound is not working you may need to update your sound drivers. If your card is a PCI card which you have slotted in yourself find the manufacturer of your card and windows operating systemand download the lastest driver from your manufacturers website. Once downloaded install by folwing the instructions on screen.

If its a built in card you may need to update the hardware drover from device manager. To do this follow:

Right Click My Desktop
Click Properties
On System Properies windows click on Hardare tab
Click Device Manager

IExpand the Sound, Video or game controllers menu and if there is a yellow sport next to any of the devices right click on it and click on Update Driver. Once done you shouldn't see any yellow sports.

Aso before you finish make sure your speaker connection is in the green hole at the back of your sound card.

My speakers on my computer are usually on the bottom right corner of the screen. they are no longer there.what can i do.

I presume you mean your speaker icon in the taskbar?. If so these steps should help get this back
If you go to Start-->Setting->Control panel ->Sound and Audio Devices you
will see in device volume a tick for Place Volume icon in the task bar.

Hope this helps

No sounds

Was the sound working beforehand?
First off try to find a continual source for sound like a music file or movie etc...something that can play while you tweak settings.
As the sound is playing(Make sure the program that is playing the sound file has the volume up, check your Advanced Volume settings by double-clicking your sound icon in the bottom right corner of your screen by your clock. Make sure the sound is set and none of the channels are muted. Next check the volume knob on your speaker and make sure that is turned up. Lastly make sure the speakers are securely connected to the PC in back (follow the cord). The cords are usually color coded, make sure it's plugged into the correct hole.
Good luck!

Emachine computer no sound at all

Built in pc speakers are just for error beeps etc. You most likely have on-board sound. I would try getting a sound card (with drivers) Put it in a free pci slot & connect your speakers to it. :)

The speaker for most computers are on the task bar in the right corner, click on the speaker and see if it is not muted or checked mark. If it is just uncheck it and you should get sound.

No sound

well, there are a number of things you can try.

1) test the speakers on another unit, see if they work. Make sure they are plugged in and a headphone is not plugged into the machine

2) make sure the mute is not on, and that the computers volume control is turned up (this can be found on the bottom right of the task bar)

3) check the device manager (find this through the control panel). Make sure the device is enabled and drivers are current.

4) replace the sound card.

It would be helpful to know the context of your situation. Did this happen all of the sudden? Do you hear anything at all through the speakers?

Speakers won't work

Please check the connection from Speaker to your Sound Device if its properly and correctly connected, usually it should be inserted in the GREEN hole at the back of your CPU, if this doesn't help, then check the volume control (SPEAKER ICON) on you Windows Setting, you can see it on you task bar, beside the CLOCK on the right side, if this still doesnt help, please re-install your SOUND Device Driver, if its buil-in on your Motherboard, then you can use the CD provided in the Motherboard.

If this procedure solves your problem, please spare a little time to rate my solution.
