SOURCE: OIL SENSOR LIGHT FLASHING
in some newer cars, they have light that blink like this to tell you that you need an oil change. they are just set on a timer to go off every 3500-5500 miles or it could be a malfuctioning oil pressure sensor. either way its a eawsy fix. take the car to a oil change shop to have them verify which one.
SOURCE: Banging noise coming from engine
There are 3 possible reasons the oil light would go on. The 1st and 2nd reason would be due to no oil lubrication of engine components. This could be from a failed oil pump, or critically low oil level. The 3rd possibility would be a defective oil sending unit giving a false reading of a problem. You should always immediately pull over and shut the vehicle off if the oil light goes on, as driving the vehicle could result in severe damage to the engine. The banging noise you hear and the black smoke is probably due to a major engine problem, due to lack of engine lubrication. How much oil did you have to add to bring it up to full level?
SOURCE: low oil pressure
Hi, you will need to inspect the oil pump screen. it is clogged. normally when the light illuminates at low idle, its because of a clogged oil pump screen. Here is a little description about this device.
Also known as an oil pickup tube, this strainer assembly in the inlet
side of oil pump circuit screens out larger impurities and debris
before they enter the pump. A finely woven mesh screen is on the sump
end of the assembly, and the opposite end of the assembly either
presses into or bolts to the oil pump.
To access most oil pump screens, the
Engine Oil Pan
must be removed.
Please rate and god bless:)

Better make sure the fan works. There is a switch on the radiator that turns the fan on when it gets to a certain temperature. It could be the fan or the switch. Your thermostat is not your cap, it's in a different location. (Usually at the engine end of the upper radiator hose) Get the leak check! A good garage can pressure test the system to see what leaks you might have.

The timing belt drives the water pump so it would be advisable to replace the timing belt if you replace the pump and visa versa. The timing belt should have been replaced at 105,000 miles and if you did replace it at that time, then I would not replace it again unless it is soaked in leaking coolant. If not, then for sure replace it. Replace the tensioner if it is defective. You need to find a good mechanic that is not just guessing as to what is wrong. If you have no apparent external leak and you are seeing a milky substance on the underside of the oil cap, you may have a blown head gasket. Do you see white smoke coming from the exhaust? Do you see air bubbles escaping from the radiator with the cap off and the engine running? If so you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. A compression test will help determine this one way or the other. A dye test on the cooling system will also help tell you where the coolant is leaking. If the water pump is bad it should be leaking. 130,000 miles is not that much on a modern engine. This engine will easily last 200,000 miles if maintained properly. So it is worth repairing, but that is your decision. You just need to find a good mechanic that actually knows what they are doing.
Check
engine light comes on and off, these are indication that there is some
error code stored in your vehicles ECM. The engine module computer
needs to be scanned. These will give the code and as per the error code the
further problem can be detected and confirmed. The engine light
indicator blinks or remains steady on dash when engine computer
noticed any problem with any engine electrically operated components.
