Hi,
I have just bought a brand new RCA TH1010 MP3 Player from ebay. It came in a sealed package etc. It worked fine for about 4 days. Than I chaned a battery and it worked 1 day after that untill I pluged it into my computer to change audio material on it. My computer could not access the player even though it showed it in "My Computer" window and later when I unpluged it from the computer, all it did when I pressed a turn on button was come up to the RCA welcome screen and freeze there. I tried to take a batter out but it did not fix it. When I plug it into a computer now, it says that the directory might be corrupted, etc. Can anyone help please?Thank you.

when i turn on my player it will either freeze automatically, go to a song and freeze before i can play it, or it will freeze in the middleof a song. Also whenever I try to download music to it at says it has an error. I've tried removing the battery but it doesnt help.
the same thing i try to put in and take out music but everything freezes until i un plug it then everything gets better
My RCA Thomson only shows the screen that says RCA, but it works well with the computer if I take out the battery. I tried formatting it and I was careful to format it in FAT format.
I would like to try refreshing the firmware but the RCA site does not support this.
