Saeco Incanto Flashing Red Bean Light

Hi there, I have just bought a Saeco Incanto and requested the instruction manual as the red bean light is flashing and the rest of the machine will not now work. When it arrived it had old beans in it so I emptied these out and dispensed a coffee so that all the remaining beans would be dispensed as well. Then I refilled it with our beans, and the thrid light in the bottom row is now flashing and I have taken the beans out a again but can't seem to get it to dispense a coffee at all - help!
My Saeco Incanto I think is an older model as it does not have a display at all.

I found a machine in my dentist's office with this exact same problem. I'm not familiar with the model, so I downloaded a manual for the closest model I could find online (the Sirius), and it offered no help -- but in 8 languages!

I ended up just pulling the drip tray, pulling the box where the grounds end up, and re-inserting the assembly (all while the machine was on.) When I buttoned it up again, it worked.

Hope this helps (although I can see how it might not...)

I had the same problem, Saeco model SUP021YR. I emptied the bin, refilled the bin (ended up getting beans all inside the machine... argh... what a mess to clean up), turned it off/on/off/on, cleaned everything two times. I ended up pulling the Brew Group (the box where the beans end up after grinding) out and then reseating it a couple of times, while the machine was turned on, and then it light finally went out.

I just received my brand new talea giro plus in the mail today. went thru the instruction manual and set everything up step by step. when i turned it on the very first time the red exclamation point is...

I had a similar problem. I opened and closed the water tank, the top coffee bean coffee and the dreg door several times. I even 'stirred' the coffee beans a bit. Finally, after simply taking the coffee bean cover off and putting it back on, the light went to green. Even now, several months later, I sometimes have to open and close everything to make the green light come on, although it seems to be getting better with age. (like me :-))

On my saeco incanto I get a red light showing no coffee but there is coffee.I'd be much obliged if you have any ideas Regards Frank

HI

Grinder adjustment set too low. Increase the setting to 18 and try again, after it grinds and starts to brew push the brew to stop the cycle. Repeat the steps again. If it works when it is grinding turn the big knob back down but to a mark 2 higher than you had it before. When the grind gets to fine the ground coffee compacts in the grinder and passage way then you get the message bean hopper empty. Making the grind a little coarser prevents the grinds from compaction. If you are using oily beans (Shiney) they can glue themselves together and cause the same symptoms but the fix is the same. Make it coarser. If it didn't fix the problem you will have to dissassemble the grinder and clean, then readjust.bansheracer_14.jpg

Hi there, I have a saeco incanto classic manual machine (had it for 1 week). The machine says it wants more beans (red light flashing) but it is full already. I have tried to empty the bean container...

The light comes on for two reasons. One is out of beans - the other is coffee cake thing is full. Sometimes the brewing device ( that big thing inside the door) will have a bit of coffee cake in it. Just take it out ( Squeeze tab and slide out) and rinse in sink. place back in. Very common issue so get comfortable with sliding this thing out to clean

My bean light won't stop blinking red!

Hi
Turn you big knob in the bean hopper up all the way to the largest #, then try again. If it clears the and makes a coffee do it 1 more time then turn the big knob back down while the grinder is running but don't turn it down as far as you had it before,(1 to 2# higher)

Stuck grinder

Hi,

make sure you not get any damp into the grinder. If you have damp in the grinder then it do not grind the beans.

Incanto-classic coffee beans do not flow to grinder

The machine automatically stir the beans since the blade make vibration and doing that shake the bean all around.Make sure the the tank is half full so the weight will help on that.If the container is almost empty the bean will fly around and don`t get in the grinder.Back up the machine to the original factory grinding and try to adjust again the wheel

Saeco italia

ok turn the machine on and wait till warmed up. Open door while machine is on and remove the dreg drawer. This you always need to do when the machine is on otherwise it will not reset.
flashing means dreg drawer steady means coffee beans
