Started locking and giving code 6. did all instructions recommended. needles thread, bobbins cleaned, matched, will sew for about an inch then code 6 again.
SOURCE: Not picking up the Bobbin thread
I cleaned the machine good with canned air, oiled it. I took out the bobbin case and cleaned it good also. I then noticed the tension screw on the bobbin case was loose, tightened it and the problem was fixed.
SOURCE: while sewing the bobbin case moves, wheel locks up, needle locks
Im not sure if this will help but thought I would pass it along. My Pfaff 6122 tells me to check bobbin for thread unrolling clockwise before you place it back in the machine. I had mine turned to un roll counter clockwise, this is wrong, the bobbin will fall out when you pull on the thread while you are holding it in your hand. You may just keep putting it in backwards. Hope this works for you. J.R.
SOURCE: Bobbin thread not feeding into the upper needle thread
completely unthread the machine....ensure the needle piston shaft is in the correct position and retread the upper. reinstall the bobbin and turn the machine by hand to engage the bobbin thread. Draw the bobbin thread through the stitch plate and with the needle thread, allow to trail off the back. attempt to sew a piece of scap material.
please let me know what happens at this point.

Check the thread coming out from the bobbins maybe on reverse side, also check the bobbins tension adjust it there is a small adjusting screw.Check also the needle alignment lastly check the upper tension from the tension regulator knob, tension adjustment is depend on the fabrics that you sew.

Sounds like you have to take off the throat plate and clean out threads under it. Sometime they ball up and prevent the needle from going down and catching the bobbin thread. You can't see themuntil you take off the plate. Follow the directions. It is easy.
