if build in cam is fails to recognized by the system, most likely it is a problem in the cam or the connection on the motherboard.
open the cover of a laptop computer and LCD screen to remove the cap cam and make troubleshooting by using the camera 100% working. If your problem is gone, it means that your cam problem, but if it is still the same, the possibility of your camera port or just system problems. try doing a system recovery to ensure that the real problem.

Ok, there are NONE, for Win 7. You may be able to get it to work like this, go to device manager, locate the Unknown Web cam.. and search for the driver online...it may find it otherwise...

i am using windows 7 in my laptop compaq610 model webcam device is already installed but it is not networking.is any software to be used or what?

install the appropriate driver for the web cam

first uninstall cam driver then downlaod your cam driver from this link.

Sicne no specific model was mentioned, here is the generic webcam driver used for Compaq Presario C791TU Notebook PC. Most laptop models in this series with webcam use YouCam so it should work.

My father has purchased F733AU laptop only for internet use.First dealer has instaled windows xp.But with xp mic was not working

i hv HP dv6000 and facing same promlem. B.coz its my field, so I tried myself to solve it.

Then I found that: If I try to use cam after using it in QuickPlay then it will not work.

So to work with web cam in yahoo messanger, just re-boot your lap and then (don't try to use it with any another software like QuickPlay etc), just goto Yahoo Messanger and use it, atleast it will work first time after boot.
