Question about Sony PSone Console
My playstation2(slimline) runs fine but after a while it starts to make a heavy buzzy kind of noise. any ideas to fix it?
Actually you can fix that. its a little complicated but it can save you some money. First take it apart. then loosen the screws holding the fan in place and take it out it should have a connecter that is taped to the frame of the console. check to see if the fan case is bent if so just gently pry it back away from the blandes. if not it may be burnt up. go on ebay and search for"PS2 cooling fan" and find one that looks like yours and just pop in the new one and you should no longer have a buzzing noise or an overheating problem.

It's the fan. It's broken. You can't fix it.
