Two white dots appeared on screen- one blinks and one does not. Picture is currently good

DLP/DMD chip is failing. you need a new DLP chip for that model TV. the pixels are sticking. it will get worse as time progresses.

Your problem is that the DMD device is failing. You're in luck, though. Mitubishi has recently released a replacement DMD device in order to keep repair costs down for the consumer. Take your TV to an authorized Mitsubishi servicer for repairs.

I believe it is the digital projection chip that is beginning to fail. Causing white and black spots to appear. To repair this may cost more than a new tv. If you want to attempt it yourself check out the above link. Hope this helps

To see it you need to put very clearly focused A4 sheet. If some dots are blinking .... most of time DLP chip is bad or getting bad.. IF can please upload a very clear picture......

sound like you have a bad dlp chip. this happens to a lot of samsung dlp tvs. some of the mirrors are stuck. they can appear as black dots or white dots and it usually gets worse over time.
