Tried rethreading at top and bobbin set tention still when try to sew cotton comes out of needle
Do you mean cotton thread won't work in the machine ? Does polyester thread work ?
Some thread brands are not as good quality as some others. Not knowing what brand thread you have, it is possible the thread itself is causing the problem. .
If other types of thread work in this machine, it is most likely either the particular spool of thread or the brand being low quality that is the problem. I would try a brand new spool of a high quality cotton thread to see if that helps.

Are you making sure that your pressure foot is up when you thread the upper thread? If it isn't then your thread is not seating correctly in the tension disks. It will then be loose and make a birds nest(mess) under what you are trying to sew. The other thing to check is which way you are putting the bobbin into the bobbin case, different machines do it different ways. Some want the thread to come out of the case in the same direction as the slot on the case and some want it to come off in the opposite direction.
Guest,
Probably when your son broke the needle he knocked it out of time. You will need to have a sewing machine technician to repair that.
Hope this has been helpful for you bothl Liz M

Could it be that the feed dogs are down? I also have the 15358 and when I opened the bobbin area to clean it, I had this problem. Apparently, when you open the clips around the outside of the casing, it pushes the lever that adjusts the feed dogs to the right (lowering them). I didn't even realize it at first. Check your manual for adjusting this lever to raise the feed dogs. That might solve your problem.
SOURCE: Thread in needle or bobbin keeps on breaking
The tread only breaks in the needle. what can i do . i don't get to sew anything . I tread the needle and get everything ready and start the machine and as quickly as that the tread is broken and the machine has not sewn at all.
SOURCE: the needle is not catching the bobbin..
A bent needle or one not seated is common problem. Also the orientation of the needle is important. Make sure the flatted part is where it should be seated.
The rest of problems are usually a tension problem. As the needle comes back up, a loop should form that is caught by the shuttle and carried around the bobbin.
