Why won't the mp3 player turn on without the charger?

Is it turning off with charger connected or without charger?
If it is turning off while charging also, Try doing a soft reset.

1. Insert a small pin or unfolded paperclip into the reset hole located at the back of the player.
2. Hold until the player shuts down.
3. Power on the player again by using the Power on/off key.

If this doesn't help, try repair it using Philips device manager program which came with the CD or downloadable from Philips web.

The new player needs to be charged overnight for the player will work on the battery. You may need to do this a few times after the battery runs down.

Same thing happened to me when I deleted a song. How long has it been? I left alone. And I let the battery die. The next day it went to normal. What kind of mp3 is it? I have Phillips Go gear.

The re-chargeable battery is bad.

PUT IT ON A CHARGER OVERNITE, AT LEAST 4 HOURS. do NOT use your cp as a charger if u can hlep it

Have you got the right charger?? if yuo dont have the right charger for you mp3 player it may not charge the way it should i would recommend changing the charger or the cable.

Actually there's none so think about buying a new charger and if it's not working then re-write to me so that I can help you more.

my sansa e250 wont turn on only when i plug it into the charger...and when i try to turn it on without plugging it into the charger it says battery is low and turns off..when actually the battery is full...?

make sure the mp3 is powered by the AC charger. i remember when i connected without the charger, it wasn't connecting at all. n then when i put the charger with it, it worked fine

If it won't power on, this likely indicates that your motherboard is fried and needs to be replaced. Have you tried connecting to a wall charger? If you connect it to a wall charger and it STILL doesn't power on, then your motherboard is fried for sure.
