What is root\legacy\hlnfd\000

I'm getting ready to take the Cisco 3925E CCNP switch exam, and I have what may be an elementary question. In all the guides I've read, and lab manuals that I've used, anytime there are multiple switches that can be the possible root, the MAC address's are shown in a very simple format....such as aaaa:aaaa:aaaa or bbbb:bbbb:bbbb or some other such simple address thus making it obvious. How about in the real world, or on Cisco exams? Do you need to convert the entire address to be sure or just a portion?
MAC addresses are in hexadecimal format ranging from 0-9 and a-f. It's pretty much sequential from there.
A mac address of 0020.01cc.de23 is lower than 0021.01cc.de23. Another example would be 0000.c0a7.ffc2 is lower than 000.c0a7.ffc3 Cisco3925E

System restore (306084)
If we know when the issue started, read the system restore point information for
that day prior to trying the restore

STEP 4:

Look for the update KB905749 and try uninstalling it. Be sure to shut the system
down and wait 10 seconds before restarting.

STEP 5:

Go to safe mode - check for bangs in hidden devices in System devices - Uninstall
PnP BIOS Extension and any other device having a bang

If Administrators is listed, then remove Administrators. The default permissions

Change the permissions so that they apply to "This key and subkeys" and not just
"This key only".

regsvr32 devmgr.dll
regsvr32 dmocx.dll
If the files are missing, extract a copy from Windows XP CD-ROM or the
ServicePackFiles folder

Copy the following on a notepad.Save it as dev.reg.Double click on the same.Restart
the computer.
