It's the older Frigidaire stacking top loader model with the wig-wag transmission and is belt-driven washer. I actually can't find the exact model number, so the one in the here in the post may not be correct. The only model number I can find is FLC271GW1. It makes a lout ticking noise during agitation and the motor seems overloaded when starting to spin. (I know this is the badly designed model where it spins and drains simultaneously) I have recently replaced the belt with the correct type. Any ideas?

I have a portable washer. The water tube that connects from the washer to the sink has a line shaped hole in it. Is it possible to repair it myself, or do i need a new tube?

My Frigidaire FGX831CS stacked top loader simply won't go on - both the dryer and the washer, and the dryer light as well. Never had a problem with this great workhorse before. The fuse in the main house box is fine. And I can't try it in another outlet because this is the only special 4-prong outlet I had installed. So, where can i find an internal fuse or a reset button if there is one? And any other possible solutions would be greatly appreciated! Happy Holidays to everyone and long live user-input sites like this :) Scott
