It sounds like you have not configured your print driver. The good news is this is way easy to do. Go to your devices and printers and then right click the sharp and go to printer properties click the configure tab and then click auto configure then select the option that it recommends. This will only work if you are using a Sharp driver and not one of the universal windows drivfers.

How can I enable the staple option for printing to a Sharp MX-4111N? There is no auto-configuration option available when I right-click on the printer under the devices/printers from the Start menu.

Are you using the correct print driver? Many times, if the print driver is for a similar product, it may not have that option. It would be a good idea to see if you have the specific driver especially the PCL6 version.

It depends on if you have an internal or external stapler. Staples are specific to your model and finisher. They can be purchased from Skelton Business Equipment 281-351-5128

If this is when you select this machine to print to, it may be because the print driver is not configured properly. Go to main driver under start, control panel, printer, right click on printer, select configuration, then auto configuration and select everything with a finger pointing to it. Then try again.
