My Keyboard button broke.what should i do? ASUS F5GL

As long as you have the base parts, put them in first and snap the top cap - the letter or number into the hole or the area it came out.You can remove one of the keys next to it to see how they are assembled and when you get done just put it back on.

My T popped off key cap and I need instrutions to put it back on.

It just snaps right in. just make sure it's right in the middle and snap it in. If it doesn't work, make sure it's being aligned correctly, but like I said, it should snap back in.

Kinesis MiniType Keyboard

you should be able to just snap it back on. unless you lost the plastic connector that connects the button to the keyboard. I wouldn't suggest super could get into the circuitry of the keyboard and the keyboard wont work at all.

Letter key missing

Hi there.
Individual keys can be hard to find, but if you want to search for one or spares the best place is ebay!! just search for your model keyboard and see if there are any spares for it.
Fitting them is a fiddly job its simple enough as most keys sit on a cradle with a rubber spring in the middle and they just snap on. There is a possibility however that you may end up replacing the keyboard altogether.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

F key came off

If you have the key retainer (image) you can find some good instructions on the webpage.

If you do not have the retainer you will have to buy either the key or the entire keyboard from ebay. As of Jan 1 there are no keys available for acer keyboards but the entire keyboard is available here and here.
