SOURCE: saeco cappuccinatore not taking milk, instead blowing some steam into milk

Try this, the valve diagram shows that you twist the knob, but you left it up and down to adjust the flow. You could also check that the container you have the milk in, is lower in height than the cappuccinatore to help it siffin the milk up from its container. Make sure the cappuccinatore is fitted correctly pushed in fully and half fill a cup with milk and pull the valve adjuster up a small amount and push the button. It should start pushing steam out the cappuccinatore and then within a few seconds it should start siffining milk up the tube.

SOURCE: Saeco Talea Giro no steam or water from spout

I have the same problem as well, talked to a repair shop and it's definitely a "send in" or warranty repair. I was told it's an o-ring issue. I have no water coming out of the steam wand and it goes into the dispense tray instead.

SOURCE: I've got a problem with my Saeco Vienna Digital.

Check the end of the steam wand it might be blocked, if it is not, then remove the steam wand and check the top there is a small teflon insert (this part is in some models) remove insert and toss. If that does not solve problem then machine needs to be descaled.

Froth

If you are getting steam out of the wand I suggest you practice and work ha and to learn how to froth up the milk. The machine does not froth up, it is the operator who does. You basically need to keep the wand just below the milk level and keep moving very slowly up and down always trying to stay below the milk level. If the container is wide you may need to swirl as you moving.

Steam wand on Vienna plus detached from arm

Lets first make sure you have all the parnello wand parts. The nut, hard plastic gasket, soft rubber gasket, the inner wand then the sleeve and the center in the sleeve. When putting it back together find the notch on the metal steam wand and slide the nut onto the wand, then add the rest in the order above.

Machine will not steam

It sounds like the booster boiler is not functioning properly, either the thermostat tripped or the element is damaged.

Not enough steam is produced to make good froth.

I have one too and what I do is: turn all 3 switches on and while I'm waiting for the "ready" light to come on I go ahead and pour the milk into my frothing pitcher and prep my espresso basket.
After the "ready" light comes on I install my espresso basket and turn the handle to the "left" so no liquid starts coming out.
Next, I take an empty coffee cup and hold it under the steam nozzle and start opening the steam valve until I get only steam instead of a stream of hot water. Once you have steam, close the valve, put your pitcher of milk under the steamer and froth as usual to around 150 degrees.

Saeco Vienna Digital De Luxe Espresso Machine

sounds like there maybe a vapor lock problem... where there is a problem with the hosing... or vaccuum-like mechanics inside of the machine... Perhaps even there is "gunk" or milk stuck in the steam wand. you have a few options... get a milk pitcher that reaches almost to the top of the steam wand and fill it with ice and water. Allow it to soak for a period of time until, say, there is a decent amount of condensation that has gathered on the outside of the cup. then clean the inside with something that can reach and is non-abbrasive... *a straw may work* clean it out manually... then soak again. try opening the steam wand again and let it steam in the water... if it's not working... preform a cleaning cycle... and include a 'smigin' 1tsp. or 1 tbsp. of vinegar in the water resevior. and let it run all the water through the steam wand... if possible. if it is still posing a problem definantly contact warranty services... or seek a saeco tech in your neck of the woods!
hope this helped!

Steamer does not work

Your steam wand is probably clogged with milk. Remove the panarello outside and stick a paper clip up the tube. Then try to run water out of the steam wand.

Hope this helps!
