solution is very easy..open webfreer..open settings..on the left side click extensions..update extensions..and enable secure https proxy

Try this:

Open Google Chrome

Click Options > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings > LAN Settings > Uncheck "Use a Proxy server for your LAN.


Save the settings and then start using your chrome.

The reason for proxy setting not to change is that there is some security software that is blocking the changes that is done on the computer
if you want to permanently set the proxy, tr to boot to safe mode and then set the proxy unchecked and rebooot to normal mode..
