Links Router Unable to Connect to Internet

Hi,
My roommate and I recently signed up for highspeed wireless internet. We were given Links broadband router, that worked perfectly for about a month. Then one day, we were unable to connect to the internet. The odd this is that both our computers show us as connected. When we plug in the internet cable from the modem directly into our computers, the internet works, so we know its not a problem with the service- it has to be the router. Any suggestions (in english, not computer speak!) would be great. Thanks!
