If I unfollow someone, does that mean I no longer see their posts in my newsfeed

Check to see if you (or your friend) have clicked unfollow. If you unfollow someone, you do not see their posts.

How do I unfriend or remove a friend? To unfriend someone:

1. Go to that person's profile
2. Hover over the Friends button at the top of their profile
3. Select Unfriend

Note: If you choose to unfriend someone, you'll be removed from that person's friends list as well. If you want to be friends with this person again, you'll need to send a new friend request.

if you look carefully on the top right of there post you will see a V sign ? like an arrow pointing down. click on that . you can also click on there name..hover over "friends" and you will have the option to "unfollow" them and stop notifications

What do you want to restrict them from? If it's just annoying timeline posts you don't want to see. click in the upper right hand corner of the post. it will then say "Unfollow (name)" You will remain friends but will no longer see their posts. If you want them to stop posting on your timeline. You can either go to your profile page and go to the upper right hand corner again this time it should say "I don't want to see this" or Go to your setting and click on Timeline and tagging there will be a few options for you to choose from. I recommend you turn on "Review Posts". I hope this helped let me know if you have any other questions.

If you want to stop receiving emails or notifications about a question you posted you can do that one of two ways:

To "Unfollow" Only One Problem

1. Click the Edit button next to your name.
2. Click the My Problems tab to the left of the screen.
   
3. Here you can select "Unfollow" on each of the problems you no longer wish to be contacted about.
