Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
Hi, my hp f380 says i need to align the cartridges every time i start it up. even though ive done it already, multiple times. is there a reason it doesn't think they're aligned? its kind of annoying to have it pop up with an error every time i turn it on. any help would be appreciated.

Hi....when it ask for align it will print one page with lines etc. After printing just place the paper on scanner of the printer . printing side down and press the scan button..it will blink for some time and stop. now when u print anything on it it will not print align page. just remember that whenever u change the cartridge u have to repeat the same process..... Remove the cartridges from the F380 printer.
Position the cartridges so they are right side up and the gold leads are facing you.
Place a small piece of tape over the gold contact in the top left corner of each cartridge.
Place the cartridge back in the F380 printer. The printer automatically prints an alignment page.
Remove the cartridges. Place a piece of tape over the gold contact in the top right corner of each cartridge.
Place the cartridges back into the F380 printer. The F380 prints another alignment page.
Remove the cartridges from the printer. Remove both pieces of tape from each cartridge.
Insert the cartridges into the F380 printer. The printer prints a cartridge alignment page. Each cartridge is now recognized as a full ink cartridge.
