SOURCE: Jeep starts and runs for about five seconds then cuts off

obviously the dealer did not correctly complete the repair, therefore should be more involved in current problem. If your vehicle had any anti-theft device installed, be aware that many have delayed shut down features built in. I'd look there first, providing yo did not have any similar problem pryor to the theft.
Good luck!!

SOURCE: 1996 Monte Carlo will start everytime but then it

Most of the time this can be traced back to the antitheft system failing. Next time it does this, look for a light in the dash that says security or looks like a padlock thru a car. If you see this light, go to this link for info and "do it yourself" solutions. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

SOURCE: I have a '95 Caprice LT1 that starts, idles for about 5 seconds, then shuts off. Shuts off immediately when I give it gas.

Does it start back up right away or do you have to wait a while?

Check your throttle position sensor, sounds like its going bad. Simple test to check voltage. Before you do confirm your engine has proper fuel pressure.
