i have a rinnai cosy glow 650 when i push the start button it glows up but soon as i let the button go it stops glowing

The cosyglow heaters have 2 thermocouples in series to sense flame and keep the thing going. If either of them is split, cracked, or even dirty, it will not stay alight. Get it serviced/checked out by qualified people.
