- And yet another example (with a similar solution (to here) offered)
[

"I just got a brand new Acer Aspire 5738 with a 2GHz processor, 4GB DDR
and a Nvidia GeForce G105M graphics card, when I play a game, my whole
computer freezes, usually about 20 mins into gameplay. It doesn't
matter if I'm playing something like The Sims 2, World of Warcraft or a
simple BigFish game, it just freezes.
Why would this be happening? What can be done to fix it? I have a
technician coming out on Thursday, but if I can fix it myself, that
would be cool.
Thanks"
"Sounds like a heat
problem. Maybe something knocked loose in shipping or delivery. Maybe
the heat sink is not making a perfectly flat mate with the fan. If the
graphics card/chip has a fan, maybe it's not spinning or the GPU
heatsink isn't properly mated."
