What is a browser ?

There are many different forms of figurative language; in Key Stage 2 English your child is likely to be introduced to the following:
Simile
A simile is a comparison phrase which finds similar characteristics in two objects and compares them, always by using the words 'like' or 'as'. For example:
The pond was like a shiny, round coin.
He ran as fast as a high-speed train.
Metaphor
A metaphor is a comparison which is not literally true. It suggests what something is like by comparing it with something else with similar characteristics. It is like a simile, but instead of using 'like' or 'as' it compares by suggesting that somethig is something else. For example:
He was putty in her hands. (Meaning: he could be easily manipulated by her.)
You are the light of my life. (Meaning: you give me hope and happiness.)
Personification
Personification is a type of figurative language which gives an object human characteristics (emotions, sensations, speech, physical movements).For example:
The branches of the tree danced in the wind.
She was swallowed by the waves in an instant.
The warm sun smiled down on us.
Onomatopoeia
This is when a word makes the sound of the thing it describes (for example: boom, honk, pop, crack, cuckoo, crack, splat, tweet, zoom, sizzle, whizz, buzz, hiss, rip).
Hyperbole
This is when exaggeration is used for effect. For example:
I had to read a book that was about a million pages long.
The children were so excited they were bouncing off the walls.

First off i got to ask do you have Windows or a Linux based OS on your PC? I was also wondering if your trying to translate to a language like English to Chinese or simply want your computer to have a completely different language on it? I wrote several ideas I had on mind below that can hopefully give you a good start.
In my experience their are several ways to install or configure different languages for a PC. I know that some browsers will come with or provide extensions that translate English to like Chinese or to other languages. I also know that Windows Update will provide language packs for people who need not only their browser translating languages, but also their OS to have a different language.. If your language packs where not hidden when you set up the PC then you can find it by clicking search on Windows Update. If not, then Microsoft should have a site that lets you search for those kind of Windows Updates. Also if your using Linux they give you an option to what language you want when you install their operating system. I don't know your an exact OS so if you need any help just let me know.

You need to add the English keyboard.
Follow these instructions:

• Windows 7 or Windows Vista
  1. Click Start Collapse this imageExpand this image, type intl.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
  2. On the Keyboards and Language tab, click Change keyboards.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Expand the language that you want. For example, English (United States).
  5. Expand Keyboard list, select the United States-International check box, and then click OK.
  6. In the Default input language list, click Language name - United States-International (where Language name is the language that you selected in step 4), and then click OK two times.
  7. In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.
     
     Notice that the Language bar appears on the taskbar. When you position the mouse pointer over it, a ToolTip appears that describes the active keyboard layout.
  8. Click the Language bar, and then click United States-International on the shortcut menu that appears.
     
     The United States-International keyboard layout is selected.
