Aspire M5100: changing the processor

Aspire M5100: I changed the processor and now I can not get the system started. When switching on the computer my display remains black. Should I somehow reset the BIOS? If yes, how? Or what should I do?
Thankfull for some advise

I had the same problem, the most likely factor is that your motherboard doesn't support that CPU's either FSB or L2 or whatever. Just find a CPU with the same FSB as your old one and that one will work.
