The usb port of the DIR-655 Extreme N router is not working

The usb port of the DIR-655 Extreme N router is not working: I've installed firmware 1.3.1NA, the blue indicator light worked for 1 hour then never again.. The usb software never recognized any usb connected to the router, printer or mass srorage. What can be done?
