SOURCE: won't drain
I have same problem Have replaced pump and motor at cost of over $500.00 with a technician.
Did not work using new replacement part also had to replace both remote panels and switch still did not solve problem. I have contacted whirlpool to complain found that this unit was discontinued due to faulty parts and faulty operation in many areas. Rather than recall they just discontinued and tried to make new replacement parts for the machine.. However the new replacement parts do not work on all machines. Some are lucky and the problem is solved for a small length of time. I am burned about this and am looking for others who would like to join forces with me to file complaint using the "Lemon Law" at most we will all get a new washer or whirlpool will have a lot of explaining to do.
