About 2 inch yellow stripe appears on the LCD screen

ACER make LCD monitor (AL 1916WA) connected with ASP IE3214 desktop shows about 2 inch wide yellow stripe at the right side running top to down which distorts the colurs of objects at those locations of screen. This stripe appears the moment the pc is swiched on and remains there throughout. please help
