Question about Dell Latitude C610 Notebook
my dell has been causing me probs for a little while but had been working fine for the last few weeks but has gone haywire again..
basically when i press a button nothing happens except for some of the buttons that allow fn use.
anyway, i have removed the keyboard from the laptop but left the lead connected. when doing this all works perfect, however when i put the keyboard back in place the fault reappears.
it seems that when the tin back of the keyboard touches the tin on the inside of the keyboard that i get this problem. here is an example of what happens when i try to put the keyboard back in place
Your keyboard is bad you should just purchase a new keyboard to replace the one you are currently using. I had the same problem!

Hi what you can try is
going into device mannager and removing the keyboard (un install)
then re install
but if you think there is a bad earth between the back of the k/board and the inner tin then place a sheet of paper between them and see how that goes
hope this helps
