Scroll on mouse screen not working

The scroll on the right of my mouse screen doesn't work on at all. I've tried it on different things and it has failed to work on anything. This just randomly happened as it worked fine yesterday morning and then last night stopped working and still isn't working now.

I actually do need my scrool for a program I use sooo I'd love to know how to fix this.
