I have a 4gb micro sd with adapter that i want to add music and pics to and move to my cell phone, but when i try to bring it up i get this message:G:/is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. What do I need to do?
Try to reboot with the card inside the comptuer. If that doesn't work then try another computer and use your last resort as attempting to replace the card adapter. If you can access data from your phone then the card is not bad.

I bought a SanDisk 4GB SDHC card for my Canon PowerShot SD870IS digital camera. It worked fine for about 3 weeks, then all of a sudden, it said "Memory Card Error". Although I can download the photos from the camera onto my computer (thank goodness!), I cannot delete anything from the memory card. I also tried formatting the card, either using the camera, or my computer, but neither method worked. Is there any other way to delete the photos or format the card?

My SD card will put the My Computer Application into "not responding" status and will force me to end the procsess causing the desktop to go blank whenever i so much as open My Computer. however removing the SD card from the computer will restore the "blackout." the SD card has been used before and had several files on it when i got it as a gift from my brother. at first i thought it was the files on it already, so i got rid of them all so that there is no content on it. however the phone i was trying to use it with says there is still 7744KB still in use.
