Play staion 2 reads all games but wont read god of war 1 and 2

my playstation 2 reads and plays all my games but just recently stopped reading my god of war 1 and i just purchased god of war 2 and it wont read that either my console did at 1 time read and play my god of war 1 and i do take very good care of my discs so it it not a matter of the disc being dirty or damaged again i must say it plays all my games except the GOD OF WAR GAMES please help and thank u in advance
