If you received the Nano 2nd Generation (which is the newer one), then your unit does not include any installation CDs. However, all you need to get it up and running is to download iTunes 7 or above. Which is AVAILABLE HERE.

What to do is download itunes from the apple website this is what you use to transfer music, video and other stuff onto it. You can download itunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/ once you have installed it plug in the ipod to your usb port and it should come up as a device in your itunes. Then you will be able to either download music from the itunes store or put cds onto itunes and then you can transfer it to the ipod. Hope this helps.

How to download music to ipod

Hello,

it can be solved. Hope you have i-tunes software and the cable to transfer the songs into the i-pod.

If you do not have an i-tunes software, you can install the software from this apple website: www.apple.com/i-tunes/.

You can get detailed information on how to put songs on your i-pod from the below link:

You have a bad battery. This is not uncommon: You should take it to an Apple Store for replacement. This is your best solution.

Hi,

Unfortunately it's not quite that simple.

Delete all the music youve just put on there. Then download iTunes, add all your music to its library then plug your ipod in, it will then sync automatically.

Hope that helps.

You can only transfer music from an ipod to a computer if they were purchased through itunes.

If that's the case, right click on your ipod's name under devices. Then click Transfer music.
