SOURCE: Low voltage output from inverter
I am thinking this a high impediance device problem and this is normal operation - the user manual of my inverter warns about use with high impediance devices - if not I am interested also...
SOURCE: 240 volt supply to inverter is ok but have not got
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE INVERTER POWER TRANSISTORS ARE BAD OR INVERTER CONT ACTORS ARE NOT SWITCHING
SOURCE: Wiring the 1750 watt eliminator direct to the main panel
DO NOT DO THIS! If I understand you correctly you want to have three ways to have 110 power in your motor home--- (1)Vehicle 12V to inverter to main panel. (2)Generator to main panel. (3)plug the main panel into 110V. If any two of these are connected at the same time and they are both live, somethings going to blow. That's because with AC, the two sources must be synchronized in their cycles very precisely. The utility company connects their power plants together on the grid only with the aid of precise controls. But the really serious problem is the same reason they invented transfers switches for home generators -- if you were connected to (3) and the power went out, and you connected (1) or (2) without disconnecting the dead (3), you will backfeed power to the line outside and you just might kill the lineman who is trying to fix the power outage.
SOURCE: why would my new 1500 watt inverter readout show
It would show overload if you're drawing more power than it can supply. 1500 Watts is a very high output for an inverter but that is the maximum it's capable of. As with any electrical supply you should not draw the maximum power it's capable of as this can cause it to burn out. Around 1200 would be the max you should draw continuously. You need to check the power requirements of whatever you're running on it. Also you need to check that it's capable of taking 13.8 volts. If 12 volts is the recommended input, putting in 13.8 will increase the voltage output which could damage appliances being run on it.

You may not have adequate input voltage. And unless you are hooking up to a forklift battery, the battery will not have adequate current delivery capability for any more than a few seconds at full power of the inverter.
1200 Watts is 100 Amps. 1500 Watts is in the neighborhood of 130 Amps.
The EU3000 series generators are inverter generators. The generator features an alternator, which produced high-voltage, multi-phase AC power. This power is converted to DC power and then converted back to AC. This process is controlled by a microprocessor and is necessary to provide stable, consistent power capable of running equipment sensitive to power surges. This type of generator provides higher fuel efficiency and lower operational noise ratings in a lighter model than home and work generators produced by Honda.
The Honda EU3000i Handi is a 3,000-watt inverter generator that features wheels, folding handle and a recessed convenience light. The engine is a Honda GX160, which features a 163-cc displacement. The AC output is 120 volts, with an average rating of 2,600 watts and a maximum production of 3,000 watts. There are three receptacles to include a 20A, 125-volt duplex and a 30A, 125-volt locking plug. The DC output is 12 volts and 100 watts. The EU3000i can hold 1.56 gallons of unleaded fuel, which will provide consumers with 3.6 hours of run time at 25 percent load for 7.7 hours.
