When my camera is in AF mode (the switch on the lens) it will not focus and it will not take any pictures. If I switch it to manual I can at least still take pictures, but obviously AF is much easier. I was not taking pictures at the time this started happening, so I don't know for sure if any buttons were pushed to make this happen.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may have caused this, or how I can go about getting it to work again?

I hve been offered an unused Canon 5D Mark II body only for $1500, serial number 1120704112. As such bodies are upwards of $2500 I'm wondering if it's stolen, gray market, or repaired. Anyway of telling? thanks

I have a Canon Rebel Xt that occasionally has problems with the shutter button suddenly not working. The camera is still on and all the menu buttons continue to work. It acts like the lens decides to quit communicating with the camera body. The only fix I have found is to take the battery out for 10-15 sec. and it works like normal. Any advise on whats going on would be great, Thanks Brandon
