Dropped phone from only a 2 foot drop and only a few keys respond

If the touch screen is not responding then you need to replace it. In market check whether the touch screen can be replaced separately it will be charge you less. Else you need to replace both the touch screen and display together which cost you more.

the phone is not faulty. Its only responding to the dropping on the hard surface.

The main cause for this kind of problem is dirt or water.

You can use compressed air to blow out any dirt. If it was dropped or moisture was introduced to the interior of the phone, then it will most likely need replacement.

I have similar situation where mine started freezing for no reason.. I suspect faulty battery.. May need replacing and possibly, recall of battery.

is your phone been dropped or wet? check local service center near our place.

ok try to rinse wiht a laquer thinner wash them of about 5 mins. after that dry to the sun.

I have the same problem. Was not dropped or water damage to my knowledge. Just the red button works. When I open it, though, it shows the asteriks key as being pressed which is under the #7 key. Any help would be greatly appeciated.

your fon might be dropped and that's the reason maybe the keypad IC get malfunctioned
