If you power down the alarm panel completely, when you power it back up and press star and pound at the same time. You should see 20 if it worked. If it worked, press pound 20 to see the installer code. You are now in programming. If you want to change the program code press star 20 and enter a 4 digit code and that will be the new program code. Press star 99 to get out of programming and your done

Lynx touch stuck in arme away -bypass

At the bottom of the touchscreen there should be 4 tactile buttons. One looks like a pyramid with an ! in the middle, one looks like a house with a person standing outside, one looks like a padlock that's unlocked, and the other one looks similar to an old style alarm system keypad. If you press the button with the icon that looks like the open padlock, the screen should come up and give you the option to enter your 4 digit code to disarm the system. Enter your 4 digit security code and the system should disarm. If this doesn't work, or if you don't know the valid security code, you should contact an alarm dealer for service.

Honeywell Lynx plus L3000 wont dial over VOIP

Apparently it's an issue with contact ID, if you set it to 4+2 it should work. I will be attempting it this week, I will try to update with my results.

How to send upload

to send an upload on a lynx plus panel, you must have the installer code which is nomally 4112 (system default) or the last four digits of your account number. otherwise you must power the system entirely down, and back up including disconnecting the battery. the safest way if to unplug the transformer. sometimes its in a wierd spot though so its easier to disconnect one of the power wires inside the keypad along with the battery. the battery is located in the upper lefthand corner and normally colored green. it will attach the the panel with a red and black wire.(to reset the installer code if you dont have it you must open the panel and disconnect this backup battery no matter what) the ac power attaches to the black terminal block on the far right side. once the battery is disconnected and the ac is cut, power the system back up and within 30 seconds press * and # at the same time. this enters the program menu which should say 20 installer code which can then be reset by pressing *4112 all this wont be nessicary if the code is already 4112 or the last 4 of the account. ethier way, once you have it simply enter the code, then press #1 upload sent, easy as pie. so to simplify (example: 4112#1)

Lynx plus once a zone is in fault im unable to clear it

if its in fault you wont be able to clear it. the best you can do is bypass the zone until you can get a service tech out to it. put in your code, then the number six for bypass, then the two digit zone cone. it will allow you to bypass the zone and arm it each time until it is fixed. the only other option is to completely delete the zone and render it usless until its fixed. you can do this by entering program mode using the default 4112 then 800 or the last fout of your acct # then 800 normally. if that doest work, open the keypad disconnect the backup battery (usually green in the upper lefthand corner attached with a red and black set of wires.) and power down the system all together, then power it back up. the safest way is to unplu the transformer but if its in a wierd spot like the attic you can simply unscrew a wire from the black terminal block, be careful not to touch the other wire or your transformer will blow. once powered back on, when the system fist beeps, press # and * at the same time, it will say installer code. you can set it to what you want, i always use 4112 (system default) once in main programming, hit *56 to go to zone programing, then hit the two digit zone code, then follow it with *00*1 that will totally delete the zone rendering it usless untill a service tech can be sceduled to add it back in. but, your system will be able to arm the rest of the house.
