Its gear oil should have the specifications in manufacturers manual in glove box a quick call to u r local autoparts to order gear oil will give that answer by year ,make ,model they will assist you its part of the service to make sure you buy the good products you should be good

Just have your auto - locking hub cleaned and use your 4wd more often, it get stock usually for non usage. dont use grease after cleaning, use oil or thick silicone oil.

try checking out your blower speed control resistors. follow your power wire from blower to the resistors, to locat, should be in duct in front of blower for cooling. I hope this helps, if the resistors pack is good only think else is a bad switch

its usually behind the glove compartment in the blower box. you will have to pull the GB door down all the way to access it

And, if you have a manual:
Manual Transmission, W/ BW 5-SPD..........4.4 pints
Manual Transmission, W/O BW 5-SPD..........6.3 pints
Type of fluid is dextron or mercon III, you have to pump it in from the bottom.
