My epson p50 is not print correctly and not cleaning cartrage correctly what i do

An ink supplier advised turning off the printer for 15 minutes, turn it on and try again. That worked once. Next time he suggested turning off printer, removing all cartridges, waiting 15 minutes, replacing cartridges. I couldn't do this without turning the printer back on and going through the replace cartridges routine. Now the nozzle check routine printed magenta and yellow only. I've run the head cleaner a number of times with no success.  Hope one of these suggestions works for you.

Hello Carla, can you manually clean the heads where the ink delivers the printer. Try using the printers own program first then do a manual clean with proper cleaning solution if this will not work.

Hi I know if you go into Start, Control Panel, printers & Faxes, epson 1400, right click printing preferences, maintenance, speed & progress, and click on Disable Epson Status Monitor - this stops the printer 'thinking' the cartridges are running out... Joy
