Toshiba not "responding " and drivers are a mess!. What would u say te best sites are for drivers/and certificates. Thank fb people
If it is that messed up . I would reformat the hard drive and do a clean install. When you have a new computer make a recovery disc, you can boot from that and fix any faults.

my computere is sooooo slow. from the first time i got it its been slow and I can hardly get on the internet most of the time. I sent it back to toshiba however, they kept it 3 weeks and its still slow. Should i take vista off and replace it with XP?

Restoring the preinstalled software from the
Recovery HDD (Depends on the model you
purchased.)
About 2.5 GB of hard disk space is reserved for the recovery partition.
When re-setting up your hard disk, do not change, delete or add partitions
in a manner other than specified in the manual. Otherwise, space for
software may be destroyed.
In addition, if you use a third-party partitioning program to reconfigure
partitions on your hard disk, it may become impossible to re-setup your
computer.
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Hold down the 0 (zero) key on the keyboard and turn on your computer.
When “In Touch with Tomorrow TOSHIBA” appears, release the 0
(zero) key on the keyboard.
3. A menu appears. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Try looking here, theres 4 pages of drivers available for your laptop. You may not have found it before because I believe it to be an older model.
