Bought it used from eBay. Worked fine until I didn't use it for ~weeks. It wouldn't power on despite obtaining new battery and charging for several hours. What do you think?
TDG1 do you get the same where the logo comes up? or is yours dead?

I removed the batteries and plugged it in. That seemed to solve the problem. Then I replaced the batteries. Works fine now

Hope windows media player 11 is the obstacle. so uninstall it and then try.
I used to think my Creative 40GB Zen Xtra was not working but found paper clip to stick in reset place and it started working.

Not used my creative zen xtra 30gb for months due to using an ipod in the car but will be flying to the states and could do with zen xtra however it will not charge or switch on just seems completely dead.
I have had exactly the same problem with my 40gb player. That was bought used from e-bay as well. I don't want to trash it just yet in case anyone can come up with a solution to getting it working???
I have a Nomad Zen Xtra 60GB MP3 player. If I use the AC power cord I goes on. I bought new batteries and tried to recharge it but the maching will not turn on. when It turns on with the AC cord, I can't seem to transfer music to it. Not sure what to do. HELP!!! I'm also looking for a Repair agent in NYC. but to no avail.
