Re: my dvd cant eject
You need to provide more information.
A CD-ROM/DVD drive only needs power to eject a disc. It does not care if the drivers are installed, for that function, it only needs power.
If this is a new drive it might be a bad one. If this is a drive you have used before, it might have gone bad.
If you have a Disc stuck in the drive, you can always use a paper clip to preform a manual eject. Just unbend a paper clip, and stick it in the pin size hole on the front of the drive. Keep pushing until the drive door opens.
If this is new drive, make sure it is connected correctly.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi Go to My computer, right click the cd/dvd writer, and choose 'Eject', if it wasn't get out, so you need to use tall needle softly inject it in the hole near the cd/dvd writer light and press it inside softly, then the cd/dvd writer will be ejected. Take care, use the needle carefully.
Try pressing repeatedly the eject button while you turn on the unit. If this doesn't work then it is a mechanically problem in your player. You need to be manually open to take out the dvd.The rubber thread which should be connected to the motor inside the DVD player might have moved from its place.
You need to place the rubber thread to proper place.
Furthermore, if the belt is slipping, the mechanism never gets the "drawer closed" signal, and the disk will not spin.
After a DVD player has been used for awhile, another common problem is that the laser in the DVD player becomes misaligned, inhibiting its ability to read DVDs. So it indicates the defective laser motor. The only way to fix this problem is to bring the unit to a service center for repair.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to ask us if you have any further queries.
have you tried using a software application to tell it to eject? if this also wont work and all else fails there i a small pin hole in the face of the unit someplace near the center of the deck. if you insert a needle or other stiff small wire into this hole and push gently it will release the cd tray and allow you to retrieve your cd or dvd and in alot of cases return the deck to opening when it should.
As for temporary use you can use a simple method. You may see a small hole below the disc inserting cabin. Push the eject button and have a pin inserted well into the hole. the dvd player will eject in a matter of seconds.
Actually, the problem can occur as a result of aging or someone or something must have applied so much force on the player such that the dvd cabin is misplaced. If you cant find the hole, struck the top of your dvd player hard, after pressing the eject button. Two or three tries must help.
1 try un plug and plug back in
2 if not work enter menu and look for settings and look for parental lock or ratings most codes are 1234 / 0000 / 5555 or 8888 but if you changed code i will not know
3 open dvd and look for rubber belt and cog then turn it until dvd draw opens ( UN PLUG FIRST )
hope this helps
