My pc can't find my speaker

my computer had a virus, so i deleted my window and installed windows xp home edition. before deleting my old window my speakers worked fine, after i installed new window, my computer can't find my speakers. i pluged my speakers properly, but it says i don't have any audio devices. Please help meeeeeee!

You probably haven't loaded the sound driver yet.
To find out goto control panel, then system, then devices
You might see a ? next to one or more devices
If so, the next step will depend on if you have the driver on cd, or you will have to download it.

Download the file and then run it and you should get your audio back at that point.

You need to install and update your drivers for your soundcard before the sound will work.
