Hi, It sounds like the heating element might have shorted out. Use a flat blade and insert it into the gap between the top and the front panel. Raise the top up and locate the heating element in the upper rear. Plug the dryer in and see if the element glows without starting the dryer.

I would unplug it. It sounds like the selector is broke. Servall carries appliance parts. Make sure the appliance is grounded. You are paying big bucks on the electricity if it is working 24/7. Go on internet and enter your model in search window. You can find diagrams online. Good luck.
