Question about Husqvarna Chain Saw 20" Bar
Fit the chain over the clutch/sprocket first, then fit the bar into it, then draw it out so that the chain follows the bar groove.The chain teeth must be cutting toward the engine on the bottom side of the bar. When mounting the side plate over the bar, make sure the adjusting screw prong is fitting into the associated hole at the rear of the bar. Set the chain adjustment so that the chain does not droop from the bar, yet turns freely. Run engine to check oiling of the chain.

Position lower end of right (outer) timing chain on the crankshaft sprocket. Align the copper (or marked) chain link with the timing mark on the outer flange of the crankshaft pulley.
