Hi Kevin, Would you mind telling me how you eliminated the timer and the lid switch as possible culprits? That may help me help you. Also, when the unit is supposed to be "spinning", is there any noise(s)? Does the water drain out properly and completely? Thanks, SG

I have a model WJRE5550H1WW washer that will fill agitate but will not pump out and spin

first check the lid switch, a lot of washers will agitate with the lid open but wont spin out. If its not that check your timer and then your water pump. Most likey it is the lid switch.

Washer will wash. won't spin.

This involves the spin lid switch
Twist timer very fast a few times and stop it on spin with the lid closed. Wiggle the timer to get the points to connect. Even if you
just get a little bump then its the timer.
If none of this works then it is the timer plus maybe something else contributing.
You can tape the two wires to the switch together and it'll work just fine
Also check the plunger on the lid to see if it is not broken off
If this was helpful please rate me.

My GE Wizard Washer will agitate or spin for a very short time.

replace the transmission. this job is better done after a few dozen bottle of your favorite whiskey. Check the timer controls to ensure timer is advancing properly. tranny's are notorious on ge's for this sort of problem as well as inner basket drive blocks coming loose. ge makes alot of great appliances, this just happens to be one of them that isn't. i trust their jet engines too, although hard to work on them from 30,000ft.

Washer starts to spin and quits after 10 seconds. It is like the spin timer is set to short or something.

place a screwdriver into the lid switch hole when the lid is up, timer on spin be careful as the tub will probably start to spin
if it does check lid switch and, lid for a broken lid pin that goes in the lid switch hole

Kenmore Model 80 get stuck after agitate and will not spin out

I have seen this on the same model recently, try lifting the lid during the neutral drain and reclose, if it engages spin then. then most likely your timer is bad too. The timer after two minutes of "neutral drain" will stop the motor (same effect as lid sw) then restart after a pause with spin/drain. this pause shifts the transmission to its next cycle which is spin. I found burned contacts in timer. Your timer list price is over $100 but easy to replace
