Question about Samsung HL-P6163W 61" TV
The color on my Samsung 61' HD DLP is faded. No blue color. Reds and greens are present. It is about 6 years old. Is this a lamp or color wheel problem?
If you are using Component inputs, check to make sure that the Blue Video Cable has not backed out of its connecting jack at either end or the cable it's self being bad. If you are using HDMI I would suspect that the Digital Board being bad. It would be odd for the Color Wheel to cause the problem but cannot eliminate it as a cause. The Lamp would cause the picture to be darker but not cause a color to drop out.
I would call a professional to trouble shoot it unless you have the knowledge and the tools to do so.
Hope this helps,
