Your action replay is busted you'd be better off getting a new one or somehow fixing it.

When I connect my ds to my pc, the Action Replay automatically goes into usb mode, but then I get a bunch of "Error!"'s on the ds screen. Is this supposed to happen? How can I fix it?

I fixed this by:

1. When you start the ds the AR will load. Correct?
2. as soon as you see the white screen with "This product is not made or endorsed by Nintendo" hold A+B+Start+Select
NOTE
I do not suggest doing this unless you dont have codes you manually imported in because it will delete them.

I accidentaly wiped all my cheats from the AR so i tried to put in a New game, Pokemon Platinum, and when i try to enter the new Game ID i get a Blue and Red striped Bottom screen.

Reset it. To do this, hold down A and B while turning the DS on, then at the blank white screen, hold Start and Select while still holding A and B. At the title screen, release the buttons and restart the device if the screen goes white. And there you go. A fixed Action Replay. Now you just have to update it in AR Code Manager.

I use an Action Replay (ar/AR) and an R4DS (Revolution for DS) they both work separately, but, when I try to use AR cheats on the R4DS, the R4DS fails to load. The screens both white out. -Kyle

they wont work together, check the manufacturer of your cards website for the latest fw and extract it to your desktop. look for the cheat.db file and put it on your stick. it may just contain the ar codes you want.

I have never had luck using both together.

Action replay for NDS and Pokemon Diamond

I dont know how this worked but for me i had loaded every single cheat at once, that seemed to be the problem. once i put down only one or two cheats it worked fine.also know that some cheats are scams and wont harm your ds game but make the screen turn white and unable to load. be careful if you get the walk anywhere cheat you could get lost and the game would crash. to activate most cheats you press L+R but for some it is different and it will tell you what to do. my favorite cheat is this one:

94000130 fdff0000
b21c4d28 00000000
b0000004 00000000
94000130 feff0000
00000890 01ed0001
d0000000 00000000
da000000 00000892
dc000000 00024620
c0000000 0000000b
d7000000 00000000
dc000000 00000006
d2000000 00000000
it allows you to obtain 493 master balls. if you wanted a mew you would throw out 342 masterballs then hold L while walking in grass. i got 342 by subtracting 151 (mews number) from 493. the pokemon will be the level of the surronding pokemon in the grass. good luck and hope this helps

You have a bad cheat or a wrong cheat enabled. That is why it's not working. Just disable that cheat and it should work fine.

Both Screens go White after i hit start

There is another solution for the guy that had 2 white screens before anything comes up. I have heard this many times. before turing on ur ds, hold A and B. Then turn the power on still holding A and B. Then right when you see the DS screen, hold start and select. So now holding A,B,Start, and Select, the white screens will come up. hold these buttons until the lincenced by nintendo comes up. That means it worked. Depending on how many codes you have, it will take up to 1-5 minutes of holding those buttons. If this doesnt work, dont blame me, I heard it from someone else. I tried it and it didnt work, but thats because there was something else wrong with my AR.

Ar wont take game card

Hi!
If your AR isn't taking your game when you are on the AR screen that means the AR has no avalible codes to give you. If the AR isn't taking your game in the slot, try putting the game the oppisite way you tried it. The AR goes in the way you would have put your game in without the AR. When the AR is in the game goes the oppisite way you put the AR in.
